Miriam began dancing at the age of three with the Lee-Byrne Academy, Dublin. Over her competitive years she has won Dublin, Leinster, All England, All Scotland, Great Britain, All Ireland and World Championship titles. From a young age Miriam performed with her dance academy at corporate events in Ireland, Europe and America, regularly performing in the Disneyland Paris theme park for the St. Patrick’s Day Festival. She spent her childhood summers dancing in Jury’s Irish Cabaret.
In 2011, Miriam deferred her university degree to start her touring career with Irish Celtic where she was later selected as Dance Captain. She then toured with both Gaelforce Dance and Dance Masters, where she performed the lead role. Since 2014 she has been touring the world with the renowned Riverdance. She also performs with the Riverdance Flying Squad while home from tour and has been honoured to perform at events such as the Eurovision’s 60th Anniversary on BBC, Florian Silbereisen & Carmen Nebel TV Shows in Berlin, Irish Club of Monaco, BBC Proms in the Park 2015 and the NBC Today Show in New York. For the past number of years Miriam has been a choreographer at studio2stage, working with aspiring professional dancers and helping them to achieve their dreams of touring with a professional company. She was also chosen as a choreographer for ‘An American Celtic Christmas’. In 2019 Miriam qualified as a T.C.R.G. and joined the teaching team at the Lee-Byrne Academy.
Miriam has been a member of Damhsa Irish Dance Company since 2010 and performs regularly at the Belvedere Irish Nights in Dublin and at corporate events throughout Ireland and abroad.
