Gary O’Brien from Dublin, Ireland began Irish dancing at the age of 4 with the School of Tir Na Nog in Germany. He was fortunate enough to be part of a school where the students were not only able to compete but also had the opportunity to be involved in many Irish Dancing performances and shows around Germany from a young age and this really sparked his interest towards show dancing. At the age of 10 Gary moved back to Ireland and continued Irish dancing competitively with Scoil Rince O’Shea in Dublin winning many titles such as Leinster champion and Dublin champion.
Gary began his professionally show dancing career at the age of 16 when he joined Celtic nights in the Arlington hotel and has performed many corporate gigs around Ireland since. In 2013 Gary joined Celtic Legends travelling the globe eventually working his way as one of the lead dancers for the show, Since then has toured with multiple shows such as Irish Celtic, Murphy’s Legacy, Eirebourne and has done a year long stint in Raglan Road Florida.
