Siobhan McSharry from Co. Kildare began dancing at the age of 3. She danced for the Hynes/Feely school under the instruction of Bernard Hynes and Grainne Feely. Siobhan won her first Leinster title at the age of 11 and went on to win many awards at the All Ireland’s, Great Britains, All Scotland’s and the North Americans Championships. As well as this, during her years competing with An Cominsiún Siobhan managed to win eight world medals.
Siobhan then became a professional dancer at the age of 17 and began touring Europe with Rhythm of the Dance. While at home in Dublin she continued to perform at many Corporate events. Siobhan also went to St. Patrick’s College of Teaching in Drumcondra where she obtained her Honours degree in Primary School Teaching. Siobhan began touring with Riverdance in 2014 and has performed with them for the past 3 years for their summer run in the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin.
